Ryan Roth Gallo
BOARD MEMBER
Ryan (she/her) is a mother, artist, and lawyer. She earned her J.D., from Boston University School of Law in 1999. Since opening her solo practice in 2003, Ryan has crafted a varied, fulfilling, primarily pro bono legal practice, which has included assisting in the creation of a healthcare non-profit organization that supports under-resourced families around the world, representing a client in immigration removal proceedings and in gaining legal permanent residence in the U.S., and helping to resolve a landlord/tenant disputes on terms that allowed her client, a single mother, to avoid bankruptcy and losing her home. Ryan’s most recent legal work has focused on assisting a non-profit, residential program that supports young women and girls who have been victims of sex-trafficking.
Ryan is member of the Boston University Board of Trustees, the Boston University International Advisory Board, the Innovate@BU Advisory Board, and the Boston University School of Law Dean’s Advisory Board. She also serves as a board member of the Chiles Foundation and the board of Olive Crest – Hope Refuge. In her free time, Ryan enjoys creating in her art studio She also is the lead singer in a local rock band, in which her son, Ernest, plays the drums.
