Julian Nelums
BOARD MEMBER
Julian (he/him) is a member of the Just Homes Advisory Board. Originally from Mableton, Georgia Julian's family raised him based on the principles of community service and social justice.
Julian has a background in international relations, public health, business and human rights, and sustainability consulting. He is currently based in San Francisco and is a Human Rights Manager at Amazon where he is responsible for enhancing the company’s approach to identify and address its salient human rights risks. Prior to his current role, Julian worked in sustainability consulting, nonprofit organizations, and local government. In those roles he has helped companies create and enhance their human rights strategies, supported the growth of organizations focused on regenerative agriculture and sustainable development, and improved the operational efficiency of government departments. Julian is also a member of the board of directors of Impact Lab.
Julian holds a B.A. in International Relations and Public Health from Syracuse University and a Masters of Environmental Management from Yale University.
